Listing is for an industrial antique cast iron swing out seat circa 1920, and would have been attached to industrial setting and school benches, tables, desks, and other utilitarian furniture. The cast iron swing arm is in great condition with no cracks or breaks and works as it should. I have cleaned it with water only, and towel dried it. No oil, wax or finish has been applied. The seat is a one piece of solid wood. I cleaned the wood with water and air dries it. As you can see it has some crazing from being a little dry over the years, but it is solid and strong. I left the wood bare, and did not add any oil, wax, finish etc. As that is easy enough for anyone to do on their own as they see fit. Dimensions: If the iron arm was to be mounted as it should it would be just shy of 17 to the far end of the seat. These are a larger size and weight compared to a lot of them out there. The mounting bracket can easily be reversed depending on what side of a table/desk leg or corner you want it on. Ask any and all questions you may have.
